From Gaza to London

I was born in Gaza. For years, I worked with emergency teams delivering food, water, and medicine to families living through the hardest days.

Now, I serve with Islamic Aid in London, still working for the people I left behind. My parents, brothers, and sisters remain in Gaza. Our home was destroyed, and many loved ones are gone. Every call from home brings both hope and fear.

Winter in Gaza is cruel. Families live in tents with no fuel, no roofs, and little food. I have seen babies wrapped in plastic just to stay alive.

For 25 years, Islamic Aid has stood with Gaza : bringing food, blankets, and medical care through every crisis. I have seen the peace your help brings when a mother finally has something warm to cover her child.

Each act of mercy this winter continues a promise our faith carries; to care for those in need, without pause.
