Mizanur Rahman carries a quiet strength and a sincere purpose that reflects deeply in his work. He is an IT and data management professional who sees technology not just as a career, but as a tool for meaningful change. With a BBA in Management from the Asian University of Bangladesh and an Advanced Diploma in Computer Science & Technology, he bridges structured thinking with technical mastery. Yet, what defines him most is not his credentials, it’s his intention. “Technology becomes powerful,” Mizanur says, “only when it serves hearts, not just systems.” For him, real progress begins when knowledge is placed in service of people. “True innovation is not about what we build,” he believes, “but who we rebuild through it.”

His journey has been shaped by curiosity, resilience, and a constant search for meaning. Starting as a student of management, Mizanur followed his passion into the world of IT.  Over the years, he developed expertise in data systems and networking, always guided by a bigger vision. “I never wanted to just work with data,” he shares, “I wanted my work to tell a story of impact.” That story has come to life through Islamic Aid’s initiatives. Data becomes direction, systems become solutions, and technology becomes empowerment.

Mizanur joined Islamic Aid because his heart had already chosen the mission long before his hands did. His involvement with SAWAB and Islamic Aid is fueled by faith, compassion, and a belief in human dignity. His experiences on the ground changed the way he sees his work. He met families who struggled without visibility, communities disconnected from digital access, and children whose futures depended on opportunities they hadn’t yet been given. But he also witnessed the transformation Islamic Aid brings; how digital organisation strengthens aid. These moments have anchored his commitment to sustainable change, lifelong learning, and community empowerment. And through changemakers like him, Islamic Aid continues to prove that when technology is guided by faith, it doesn’t just advance communities, it uplifts destinies.
