Qurbani is mandatory for every Muslim who has reached the age of puberty, and who can afford it.
Qurbani is one of the most important rituals of Islam, and by doing Qurbani we remember the Unity of Allah, His blessings upon us and the obedience of Hazarat Ibraahim. In Qurbani there is much goodness and blessings and all Muslims must pay attention to its importance.
Allah says in Quran
“Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only).” [al-Kawthar 108:2]
“Say (O Muhammad): ‘Verily, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allaah, the Lord of the ‘Aalameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists).” [al-An’aam 6:162]
“And for every nation We have appointed religious ceremonies, that they may mention the Name of Allaah over the beast of cattle that He has given them for food. And your God is One God, so you must submit to Him Alone (in Islam)” [al-Hajj 22:34]
Qurbani This Year
The special day of Eid-al-Adha will Insha’Allah soon be with us, providing us the opportunity to share our Qurbani (Udhiya) with the poor; a Qurbani that reaches around the world to tens of thousands of people who have nothing and no one else to turn to for help.
Celebrate this Eid with Poor Families
For only $99, we will perform Qurbani, on your behalf, for poor families. We will Insha’Allah perform Qurbani in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kashmir, India, Sri Lanka, Somalia etc. Qurbani is performed of locally purchased cows and other animals during Eid days and fresh meat is distributed to the orphans, widows and the poor.
We can also perform Qurbani for $348 in Palestine and for $250 in Yemen and Syria.
It’s no secret that millions of children suffer in extreme poverty without food, water and medical care. For these brave children, every day is a struggle to survive. Your Eid Gift of $50 could help provide poor children a lasting gift of education, healthcare and life skills.
Please share your Qurbani with the poor and give a life-changing Eid Gift that could go a long way to help as this will have a direct impact not just on one life, but on entire villages and communities.
